When I'm sad, truly sad, world crushing - heart breaking - totally shattered - sad, I watch Sailor Moon. This doesn't make the tears stop, it's not a Moon Healing Escalation (though I wish it were). Sailor Moon has taught me how to feel and that it's okay to be broken. You will hurt more times than you can count. But what's important is to get up, every time. Rely on your friends, ask for help. I've been able to share this lesson with my nieces and it gives me more fulfillment than anything. Their smiles keep me trying.

Sailor Moon taught me to believe in myself. There were so many instances were she was told to give in and to make sacrifices but she never did. She earned the contempt of her friends for her stubbornness, yet in the end she won, and she managed to save even those who may not have seemed worth saving to anyone else. Sailor Moon is pure, unadulterated love. She is forgiving, she is kind, and, damn it, she is funny.

Sailor Moon is the show I grew up watching as a child and still watch today! I have every single DVD collection and plushi dolls! AND to top it off 1 year and 8 months ago I had a beautiful baby girl and I named her Luna Rose so she is my little moon flower! And when I have a boy, his name is set in stone to be Artemis! Cannot wait for the new re-make series to come out! I love fire and Sailor Mars. Hence my photo.

Sailor Moon is about hope and friendship. A friend of mine introduced it to me in high school a time that I needed it the most. This is why I always have two cats around, it makes me feel as magical as Usagi and that I can do anything. Sailor Moon has been very important to me since then, I always turn it on when I feel sad or lonely. My best friend also happens to love Sailor Moon, I think that brought us closer as well.

Sailor Moon is important to me because it helped me believe in myself and make wonderful friends. Sailor Moon is something I am proud to pass on to my young daughter. She's been cosplaying Sailor Moon since she was 6 months old. She's now 4 and we are both excited about the new anime! Sailor Moon is part of our lives - Moon Power Forever!

I first discovered Sailor Moon when I was about five years old. I had no idea what anime was at the time, but I obsessed over the art style so much! Ever since then I have been such a huge anime fan, especially for Sailor Moon! Sailor Moon is important to me, because it inspired me to draw and pursue a career in animation! I am now an animation major, with goals to travel to Japan and one day take my talents even further! Without Sailor Moon, I don't think I would be drawing today!

When I was younger, my family was very broken. My siblings and parents fought all the time. Except when we were watching TV. Every day when we got home from school, we'd watch Sailor Moon together. This was one of the few things that we bonded over. When I got older, I managed to use Sailor Moon to help me make friends and find hobbies. Today I am very good friends with so many Sailor Moon fans! Some of us even cosplay as some of the Sailor Scouts to conventions!

I've been a fan since I was 13 and Sailor Moon means many things to me. The most important one being friendship, I love the friends I have made through cosplaying the characters. I have met the most caring, creative, and wonderful people I could not imagine being without. It also means love. Love enough to let things go, to support your friends, or even help strangers, to see beyond than whats just on the surface. To be kind and understanding as you don't know the internal battles someone else is fighting. And never give up what you love, ever.

When I was younger, my little brother and I would wake up early just to catch an episode of Sailor Moon on tv. And after school, we would race home to catch it again. I always felt I could relate to Serena/Usagi because we're both Cancer signs and have an awkward quirkiness to our personalities. And we have the capacity to befriend everyone we meet. She and the sailor scouts inspired me to love deeply and be a great friend because the little things and moments count the most.

Growing up, the only Sailor Moon related thing I owned were small text cards from the marketplace. I lived with my grandma and that was all we could afford. Though now lost, I used to draw Sailor Moon inspired comics and characters because they were the closest I could get to owning anything else. This later bloomed into an art exhibition in my old high school, scored one of the highest art exam marks and became eligible for 2 of the art schools I aimed for. Sailor Moon to me is my childhood dream come true.

To me Sailor Moon was the opening door to what I love about anime. The art captivated me at such a young age and I knew it was show that wasn't exclusive to just girls. Without Sailor Moon my passion as a cartoonist would be virtually nothing. I would have no inspiration to try and make the comic strip I have today. I love Sailor Moon and watch it with my niece and my girlfriends daughter as it's a series that should go on to the next generation.

This series inspired me to learn about a new culture and take part in a high school study abroad program to Japan where I met the man that eventually became my husband. It made me believe in myself and opened doors that I never new existed which lead me to my career path as an animator. Though I now know about different types of art and follow different genres, doodling the senshi back as a 7 year old was one of my first inspirations and Sailor Moon will always hold a special place in my heart, especially my beloved Usagi.

Sailor Moon saved me. I was very isolated during my childhood, had a terrible home environment, was verbally and physically abused and Sailor Moon was my escape. It was bright, beautiful, and had fundamentally good people. I watched it for entertainment but also as a reminder that even though I was called a failure and told I wouldn't amount to anything, I could still be a good person, a good friend. Without that reminder, I don't know what type of person I would have become. Without the escape from reality, I don't know if I would have made it.

I remember sprinting off the school bus at speeds I thought Haruka would admire because Sailor Moon started at four and I didn't want to miss it. I remember my unashamed tears as each of the Sailor Scouts were defeated to aid Sailor Moon in destroying Queen Beryl. I remember looking into a star brightened night sky and wishing that I was Sailor Moon, or Sailor Neptune, or Sailor Jupiter, in that order. I can't sum up the majority of my life in one hundred words. I can only share a few memories and hope, that as fans, you understand.

From the first moment I saw Sailor Moon when I was 10 years old, I wanted to make her costume. 15 years later, mission accomplished. Tsuki ni kawatte, oshioki yo!

Sailor Moon has always been an important part of my life to me because not only was it what first got me into cosplaying and also how I meant some of my close friends I still have today. It's always a source of inspiration for me no matter how uninspired I was before I watch it. It has the ability to make me smile after a tough day of work. I have never had a series that I have been this drawn to but it's something that will always be a part of my life.

Sailor Moon to me shows that it doesn't matter your background and who you are as a person. It shows the lifelong bonds of friendships and love spaded across centuries; how they always manage to find one another. When I was little is gave me hope that tomorrow would be a better day and that friendships can last forever. it gives power to little girl and grown girls alike that there is always hope and that nothing is impossible.

Sailor Moon is important to me because it started a life long journey full of cosplay, lifelong friends, and conventions. I met my best friend of 10 years because of Sailor Moon, and I am very lucky to have her in my life. In addition, I would not have started my 4 year old convention based maid cafe if it weren't for "the bunny on the moon." Words can't describe how much it has been a part of my life, and I am so excited that a whole new generation gets to experience it in a whole new light.

I grew up watching Sailor Moon with my older sisters. It was the glue that kept us together. As I grew myself, my love deepened. I've spent all of my high school and college years completely devoted to Sailor Moon. I go to cons and cosplay as Rei, I talk to the voice cast, and everyone at school knows about my love. Sailor Mars was always an amazing role model for me. She's so strong, confident, and tough, whilst being sweet and caring. Sailor Moon means the world to me!!!

Sailor Moon is important to me because it's such a huge part of my childhood, and I love the storylines and the message of teamwork and also it's the first anime show that I watched and because it has such a great impact on me, it got me interested in the whole anime genre, that I wouldn't found appealing if it wasn't for this show. Every time I see it, it brings a smile to my face since it's such a big part of my life.

If it wasn't for Sailor Moon, I wouldn't be where I am today. She helped me make some of the most crucial decisions in my life. I was so nervous about going to college and so worried that I wouldn't make it. It was upon listening to "Rashiku Ikimasho" and the lyrics "You never know until you try it" that I was convinced that I had to give it a shot. I knew I found my soul mate when I met my future husband, and his first words to me were "I have a Sailor Moon poster in my room."

Sailor Moon was the first Anime that I watched when I was 6 years old. And now 15 years later I finally could cosplay someone from this Anime together with my best friends. Thanks to Sailor Moon I started my hobby and found the best friends that I could wish for! If there would not be Sailor Moon I wouldn't be the person I am today. I wouldn't know all those wonderful people! Thank you Sailor Moon that you showed me the right path together with your light! <3

Sailor Moon was a HUGE HUGE HUGE!Part of my childhood and the reason i got into anime to begin with. I could still remember rushing home everyday 4-4:30pm just to see Sailor Moon and when they moved it to 5AM i would wake up early before school just to see Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon Is female inpowerment.Sailor Moon showed me that it doesn't mather who you love or what gender or race you love as long as you love them for them. Sailor Moon for me personally means that regardless of your disablity you are still strong!

It sounds silly to others, but Sailor Moon is the source of my everything. Since a child, she's been the one to make me laugh, make me cry, and make me think. She's been the foundation of all of my morals, feminism, search for truth, and the will to do what I think is right. She also was the common interest for some of my best and longest friendships, and has been the inspiration in some of my artwork...and all while wearing cute skirts and heels.

I first watched Sailor Moon at the age of 8, and I don't remember seeing such strong females role models in television at such an early age till then. Sailor Moon taught me important things about the importance of friendship, values and knowing the difference between right and wrong. If I didn't have these lessons taught by Sailor Moon at such a young age I'm not sure I'd be the same person I am today.

I live my live in a way more better, since I begann agin to be a fan of these girls. Since 5 Years I put a lot of my spare time in my hobby, called SailorMoonGerman. I've created the biggest german Sailor Moon community on the web and started to share my feeling about Sailor Moon with a lot of other fans. This ist me on the picture. My Sailor Moon merchandising collection was present at the biggest Bookfair in Germany. It was an amazing feeling, to share my collection with the mass of visitors. I'll keep my dream alive.

Sailor Moon was the 1st anime I ever watched. It inspired me not only as a person in my everyday life, but also on the creative side. I was in 7th grade when I got into it and I decided to make myself into a Sailor Senshi since I wanted to be nothing more than to be one. I made characters for 2 of my other friends and we were sisters of the original senshi. Sounds silly now, but it got me to write as well draw and for that I will always remember Sailor Moon.

Sailor Moon holds a huge chunk of my heart. It's 20+ years of memories; from many close friendships that were made to cosplaying, from obsessively collecting merch to finally getting a tattoo. I even remember the great lengths my mom went through to rent Sailor Moon VHS's in Japan just so I could watch them ~laughs~ There are no words to describe how thankful I am to how Sailor Moon has played a role in my life.

Words can't fully express what Sailor Moon means to me. As a child I was horribly bullied; and during that rough time, when I needed her the most, I found Sailor Moon. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever read; the story inspired me, the characters empowered me and the art is what made me learn to draw. Usagi taught me that no matter how scared I got, that there were people around me who loved me. That no matter how alone I felt, I was strong enough to go on. That in the end, true love is forever.

Sailor Moon was incredibly inspiring and empowering to me. She's a super heroine I could identify with that made me believe in myself more. She opened me up to the idea that despite my limitations, I, too, could make a difference in the world just by being kind and compassionate to others. She's the reason I got into cosplay. Sailor Moon is still my favorite anime, and she means even more to me today.

Sailor Moon is a girl every girl can relate to in some way. She's a crybaby who sometimes struggles with her weight, doesn't always do well in school, daydreams, and gets mixed up in events outside of her control. Despite that, she accepts and overcomes her fears to protect her friends and what she believes in. Sailor Moon is a girl, a warrior, a princess, a lover, and a mother. Sailor Moon empowers me to embrace my faults and fight on!

Sailor Moon is the only series that has been with me from childhood to adulthood. I think the main reason why I love the show so much is because it always made me feel like I could achieve any dream I had, and it continues to do so each day. Sailor Moon gives me hope.

Sailor Moon inspired me to become better at drawing manga and creating story concepts because PGSM's mangaka, Naoko Takeuchi-san is really awesome, funny, dedicated and successful to what she does, and I really want to be like her someday. Also, Sailor Moon kind of resurrected my passion for anime and manga because I was really curious of what made it a hit and what kind of impact it does on its fans. Now that I'm a Sailor Moon fan, so far I can say that Usagi Tsukino and her gang gave me hope in friendship and true love.

When I was a child, my parents went through a divorce. I used to sit in my room with my little 13-inch television and blare Sailor Moon as loud as I could to drown out the fighting. I marveled in the fact that we had the same birthday. To this day, whenever I'm depressed or upset, it's Sailor Moon I turn to. Sailor Moon is still my hero. I have introduced my children to this series and now they watch it with me. This past Halloween, I dressed my infant as Sailor Mars as a nod to my childhood.

Sailor Moon means never giving up. It's a lesson to cling to even today. Without Sailor Moon, I doubt I would have continued drawing and I never would have gotten better. I also never would have told myself that I could write a novel. It is her lesson of perseverance that has helped mold me into the person I am today, the person that will continue to work towards her goals, even when it seems impossible. She has been more of a role model to me than anyone made of flesh and blood. I'll never forget what she taught me.

Here's my attempt to express how much Sailor Moon means to me. I have watched the anime growing up when it first debuted on Television back in my childhood. I remember watching it every morning as routinely as I possibly could. Last January I went out and bought the complete anime collection on DVD with all three movies, watched it twice through in the span of six months, bought and read all twelve mangas with all new translations, and am eager to purchase the entire series once again when it releases on Blu-ray! Thank you for your time.

Sailor Moon was the 1st show I watched when I moved to Canada from Iran in 1995. The beautiful art and wonderful story made my lonely days as a single child less lonesome. My friends and I played SM for hours every day after school. I wore a shirt with SM on it and got bullied for it, but didn't care and wore it proudly. I adopted a cat and named her Luna. SM gave me the strength to be who I am today. The picture is a combination of SM drawings I did as a child and my Luna.

My Last Moon Really Is Moon
Sailor Moon was my first anime. It was my first fanfiction. It was my first posted drawing. It was my first home-made video. It was my first Cosplay. It was my first bought manga. It was my first fandom merch. It was my first obsession. This show has the most 'firsts' than any other show in my life. It has helped me with dealing with bullies, helping my friends, and saving my life from myself. If it wasn't for Sailor Moon, I wouldn't be who I am today, and I'm thankful for it. I Love Sailor Moon.

Sailor Moon was the first positive representation of LGBT characters that I had ever seen. As a gay kid going to a Christian school almost 20 years ago, I didn't know anybody that was like me. Sailor Moon was the first time I had ever seen strong, positive gay characters. It helped me realize that there were other gay people out there and that is was ok to be me! The photo is just one of the shelves in my closet which is full of Sailor Moon stuff! Sailor Moon may be in the closet, but I came out! ;)

Sailor Moon has always been important to me and a HUGE part of my life. Without it I wouldn't have the friends I have today or have some of the views I have in my life. I decided to cosplay Sailor Moon when I went to a con. I had been shy when I was younger and wanted to be more like Usagi. A girl was getting picked on at the con and I decided to step in and help. In the process I met my Mars. We both stepped in to help and have been friends ever since.

Without Sailor Moon I wouldn't love anime, japanese culture or mythology. I got also inspiration to draw from watching Sailor Moon. Nowadays I draw a lot of odangos and short skirts to my characters, lol.
I have named my cats as Luna and Artemis and I have cosplayed just once and then I was Princess Saturn. I'm happy with my first cosplay choice.
Sailor Moon is also passion for me and my friend,so we talk about it lot!

I first watched Sailor Moon when I was 6 years old, and I still watch the episodes today! When I was young, I stared at my black cat Emma, hoping she could talk. I knew that she would always protect me. When I watch the show, I see all the hardships and dangerous situations the Sailor Soldiers go through, and it always gives me the courage to face the world and keep moving forward. I also created some Sailor Moon fan art. If I didn't watch Sailor Moon, I would be a different person than I am today.

When I was younger I had a dream that I was a character in Sailor Moon! I remember soaring through the air with many of the characters, and fighting villains. It was amazing! This dream inspired me to pursue my goal of becoming an animator! Sailor Moon is an awesome show that made me really happy! I hope I can create my own animated show that can bring as much happiness to others as Sailor Moon did for me!

Sailor Moon has helped me explore what it means to be human. Sailor Moon has a wealth of emotion that I do not, and it helped me understand life from a new perspective: family, friends, and gentle justice are worth sacrifices. Sailor Moon also led me to teaching and writing. Through Sailor Moon fan fiction, I gleaned an interest in writing and literature. Now as an English teacher, I use my emotional knowledge gained from Sailor Moon to connect to my students both as people and as otaku, if the art in my classroom is any indication.
