Urara Meirochō Manga About Divining Girls Ends in June

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Harikamo's series launched in 2014, inspired anime in 2017

The June issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine revealed on Thursday that Harikamo's four-panel manga Urara Meirochō will end in the next issue on June 8.

Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the anime adaptation on Blu-ray Disc. The company describes the story:

Girls from all over the country come to live in Meiro-cho for one reason: to train to become the top uranaishi – the urara. One day, a 15-year-old girl named Chiya enters the gates, but she has another, secret reason for wanting to become an uranaishi. Together with three very different girls, Kon, Koume, and Nono, Chiya gets started as a fortune teller's apprentice.

Harikamo launched the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine in 2014, and it switched to Manga Time Kirara in 2017 when Manga Time Kirara Miracle! ceased publication. Houbunsha released the series' sixth compiled book volume on October 25.

J.C. Staff's television anime adaptation premiered in 2017, and Anime Network Online streamed the anime as it aired. Sentai Filmworks is currently streaming the series on HIDIVE.
