Takahide Totsuno launched manga on July 2
This year's 51st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published the final chapter of Takahide Totsuno's Alice & Taiyo (Alice to Taiyō) manga on Monday. Shueisha will publish the manga's second and third compiled volumes on February 4.
The manga launched in Weekly Shonen Jump's 31st issue on July 2. Shueisha published the manga's first compiled volume on November 2.
Viz Media published the manga's first three chapters in English digitally as part of the company's "Jump Start" initiative. Viz Media describes the manga:
One day, Alice Shinohara was feeling down. That's when she discovered music that would inspire her to become a singer! Flashforward a few years and Alice just so happens to go to the very same school as her biggest influence — Taiyo Suzuki! But this unassuming quiet boy ahas a bit of social anxiety when it comes to playing his music in front of others...
Totsuno published a one-shot manga also titled "Alice to Taiyō" in last year's 26th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump last spring.
