posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
This year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed last week that Bandai Namco Online is developing a PC browser game titled Naruto x Boruto Borutical Generations. The "large co-op shinobi battle RPG" is slated to launch this year, and will be free to play, with options to purchase in-game items. The game will be available through the Yahoo! Game service.
In the game, players can cooperate in teams to defeat an enemy using a turn-based system. Different commands and jutsu will activate different effects. When players or teams meet certain requirements, they will activate a secret technique.
The game will feature two main modes. In the "battle" mode, players can follow the story from Naruto's time as a boy up through Boruto's story. The "Tailed Beasts Subjugation Battle" mode, is a multiplayer raid where teams work together to fight against a tailed beast.
Players can individually form teams with four main characters and two sub-characters from the Naruto and Boruto franchises.
