The staff of the live-action series adaptation of Aki Amasawa's Love Rerun manga revealed on Sunday that GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE will perform the series' theme song "Mata, Ashita" (See You Tomorrow). Ryōta Katayose, the group's vocalist, noted that the song represented a different type of ballad for the group.
The series will premiere on Yomiuri TV and NTV on April 5 at 11:59 p.m. Kyōhei Fujimura is directing the series, while Yūko Nagata and Rieko Ōbayashi are penning the scripts.
The previously announced cast includes:
Yūki Furukawa as Shōhei Machida, a salesman and Sayaka's colleague
Ryōhei Ōtani as Ryōsuke Sagisawa, Sayaka's childhood friend
Nana Katase as Mizuki Aoyama, a woman in a relationship with Ryōsuke
Aya Ōmasa as Anzu Ogasawara, Shōhei's ex-girlfriend
Aimi Satsukawa as Tomomi Uno, Sayaka's close friend
Seminosuke Murasugi as Gorō Maejima, the bartender at Shōhei's regular bar

Toshimasa Komatsu as Taichirō Sugano, Sayaka's confidante
Tomohiro Ichikawa as Hayato Fujisaki, Sayaka's colleague
Shu Watanabe as Daisuke Sayama, a designer and Sayaka's junior at the company
The manga centers on Sayaka Minami, a 30-year-old woman who has no relationship experience, but has had a crush on her childhood friend since their college days. However, on the night before they were supposed to go on a date, Sayaka wakes up in the house of her junior from work, and she has lost some of her memory.
Amasawa launched the manga in Kodansha's Kiss magazine in 2014, and ended it in November 2015. Kodansha published two compiled book volumes for the manga.
