Actor Rakuto Tochihara Retires to Manage Father's Business

Talent agency Knocks announced on March 1 that 28-year-old actor Rakuto Tochihara has retired from the entertainment industry and will focus on succeeding his father in the management of their company.
Tochihara has played roles in both live-action and stage productions, including Kamen Rider Hibiki (Asumu Adachi), the NHK historical drama Ryōmaden (Okita Sōji), the Touken Ranbu musicals (also Okita Sōji), the live-action Nana to Kaoru films (Kaoru), the Hamatora stage play (Art), and the Hanasakeru Seishōnen stage play (Toranosuke). He also voiced the character Poom Poom in the 2000 Boogiepop Phantom anime.
