The March issue of Shueisha's Ribon magazine revealed on Friday that Moe Yukimaru will end her Hidamari no Tsuki manga in the magazine's next issue in March. Nao Sasaki's Sugar no Hatsukoi manga will also end in the same issue.
The manga centers on Hina and her classmate Gen, whose parents' marriage makes them stepsiblings. Gen, an active manga artist, behaves coldly toward Hina and his new family, choosing to not have anything to do with them. Hina, on the other hand, wants to connect with Gen.
Yukimaru launched the manga in Ribon last August. Shueisha published the manga's first compiled book volume on January 25.
Yukimaru launched her Hiyokoi manga series in Ribon in December 2009, and ended it in November 2014. Shueisha published 14 compiled book volumes for the manga. The manga inspired an anime adaptation for the The "Natsu Doki– Ribon–kko Party 5" event in 2010. She launched her Suisai manga in Ribon in August 2015, and ended it in February 2017. Shueisha published the fourth and final compiled book volume last March.
