She recently voiced main character Yuuri in the Girls' Last Tour anime, which premiered in October. Kubo will voice the roles of Himeko Momokino in Citrus and Mio Mizukoshi in The Ryuo's Work Is Never Done!, both premiering in the upcoming winter season.
She released the single "Lovely Lovely Strawberry" as her debut solo single in February 2016, and released a second single titled "SUMMER CHANCE!!" in August of the same year. Her third single, "Arigatō no Jikan," shipped in December 2016. Kubo's debut album, Subete ga Taisetsu na Deai ~Meeting with you creates myself~, shipped last May.
