2015 Crayon Shin-Chan Film Casts Maaya Sakamoto, Daisuke Namikawa

The staff of the Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: My Story About Moving ~The Great Cactus Attack~), the film opening on April 18, announced on Sunday that voice talents Maaya Sakamoto (Ghost in the Shell Arise, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) and Daisuke Namikawa (Kimi ni Todoke, Hetalia) will play two guest characters in the film. Sakamoto will play the elementary school teacher Carolina, while Namikawa will play a mariachi.
Also guest-starring with be former AKB48 idol group member Rino Sashihara as Sumaho-chan, a character who is named that by Shin-chan due to her habit of always using her smartphone ('sumaho' is Japanese slang for smartphone). Female comedian duo Nippon Elekitel Rengō members Akemi-chan (real name Koyuki Hashimoto) and Hosogai-san (Sōko Nakano) will also guest-star as themselves.
Director Masakazu Hashimoto and writer Kimiko Ueno, who both worked on Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Bakauma—! B-Kyū Gourmet Survival!!, are returning to helm the newest film. Musical duo YUZU will perform the film's main theme song, "OLA!!"
In the kindergartner "Shin-chan's" 23rd movie, he and his family say their goodbyes to Kasukabe City and move to Mexico. Director Masakazu Hashimoto and writer Kimiko Ueno, who both worked on Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Bakauma—! B-Kyū Gourmet Survival!!, are returning to helm the film.
Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki will premiere in theaters on April 18.
