Europe's Club Nintendo sent an e-mail to members on Tuesday offering the chance to buy an "Ambassador Edition" New Nintendo 3DS system. The New Nintendo 3DS has not yet been announced for wide release in Europe or North America.
The special edition comes with a front cover plate that reads "Nintendo" in Japanese, front and back cover plates with Super Smash Brothers designs, and a charging cradle. It also comes with the standard 4 GB SD card and stylus.
The Ambassador Edition is available for purchase until January 12, exclusively for members who received the e-mail. The system costs 199.99 Euros (205.00 Euros with shipping).
The New Nintendo 3DS offers changeable front and back plates, a new analog c-stick, new "ZL" and "ZR" shoulder buttons, a faster processor, near-field communication (NFC) support, and a larger screen with improved 3D support. The system launched in Japan on October 11.
