posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Tokyo Ghoul manga creator Sui Ishida drew artwork for both the limited and normal editions of MIYAVI's new album NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO. The CD will be released on July 24 and is MIYAVI's first new album in about three years.
Rock musician MIYAVI was a guest at this year's Anime Boston convention. He debuted on the international stage as a guitarist for Dué le quartz in 1999 followed by the launch of his solo career in 2002. He's also dabbled in acting, appearing in the Kong: Skull Island live-action film and the Bleach film adaptation.
Ishida previously provided an illustration for Ziyoou-vachi's "Half" single last year. The song is the ending theme for the television anime adaptation of Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul:re manga. Isihida is currently working with Broccoli on its Jack Jeanne Nintendo Switch game.
