Free's Makoto Serves Coffee In Latest Lawson Campaign

posted on by Eric Stimson
Appears on blanket, cushion

Good news for any fans of Makoto Tachibana who happen to be caffeine junkies: Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club's gentle giant is the focus of a new campaign by the Japanese convenience store chain LAWSON. It promotes LAWSON's coffee, MACHI café, and uses Ponta, LAWSON's points system.

LAWSON customers get one Ponta point for each cup of MACHI café they buy. Ten points will get you a certificate for a free cup of coffee, while 20 points makes you eligible for a raffle.

One of the prizes is this blanket.

Another is this cushion. (Both are only available to 100 people.)

You can also win a prepaid card for 5,000 yen (which is about $47) — although it's only valid for cafe lattes, iced cafe lattes, and blended coffee. The card is available for 200 people. The campaign lasts until December 31.
