Game show based on 1980s TV series becomes con fixture

Press Your Luck was an American game show that aired on CBS from 1983 to 1986. In the game, players answered trivia questions to earn spins, which they can spend to win prizes and collect cash. Famously, a player whose spin lands on a "Whammy" loses all the cash they've collected, resulting in the still-popular "no whammy" chant. The game remains popular, and a number of anime cons, including Tekkoshocon (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), Kamikazecon (Houston, Texas), and the New York Anime Festival. Brian "Sonic Whammy" Sapinski, the uploader of the above video, created and hosted this edition of the game.
