Iwaihime: Matsuri, Earth Defense Force 5 Games Delayed

Nippon Ichi Software announced on Thursday that it is delaying Iwaihime: Matsuri, its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita port of DMMGames and Ryukishi07's Iwaihime PC horror game. The game was slated for July 20, and is now slated for September 7. Nippon Ichi Software is delaying the game in order to conform to CERO's examination standards for porting the game from the PC to PS4 and PS Vita.
The port contains a new prologue that will center on protagonist Suzumu Susuhara, and will introduce the game's characters and key concepts. DMM Games released the original game for the PC in January 2016. Freelance illustrator Kina Kazuharu provided the character art for the "Japanese style romance novel game," and mocha provided the background art.
D3 Publisher announced on Thursday that it is delaying its Earth Defense Force 5 PS4 game from a summer 2017 release window to a general 2017 release window. D3 Publisher is delaying the game in order to enhance the game's quality.
In the game, the Earth is at peace when suddenly an alien life form called "immigrants" attack, and the EDF must again take up arms against the invaders. The new enemy in this latest game in the series is a humanoid enemy.
