3rd Sailor Moon Musical Gets Live Screening Event in Japanese Theaters

The staff of the the third new Sailor Moon musical announced on Friday that the show's final performance will be streamed live to theaters across Japan on October 4. Tickets to the livescreening event cost 3,600 yen (about US$29), and those who attend will receive a present. Pre-order tickets went on sale on Saturday, and will be available until September 6. General sale tickets will go on sale from September 19-October 2.

The final performance will also stream on Niconico, although the Niconico stream time might not be simultaneous with the final performance.

Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Un Nouveau Voyage- will run from September 18 to 27 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo venue, and then from October 2 to 4 at the Sankei Hall Breeze theater in Osaka. General ticket sales went on sale on July 26. Tokyo performances will offer English, French, and Chinese subtitles on smart-glass devices. The system will allow visitors use a controller to select language, text size, and display location on the glasses. Renting the smart-glass device will cost 1,000 yen (about US$8).

The show's five main actresses will graduate from the cast after Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon -Un Nouveau Voyage- finishes its run.
