Sunrise

Sunrise's panel hosted esteemed producer Masayuki Ozaki (who helped produce Tiger and Bunny, among a variety of other works) as well as their manager in the States.

First up was footage from the upcoming Gundam: The Origin OVA series. The manga has been released by Vertical Inc., but Sunrise is already planning on working with NYAV (the same team that handled the English dub for Gundam Unicorn) to produce the English subtitles and dub work for Gundam: The Origin.

Following that announcement, the first TV series in the Gundam line – Mobile Suit Gundam – and Turn A Gundam were announced for release Spring 2015 by Right Stuf, which will be handling US releases of the Gundam franchise from top to bottom.

The panel concluded with trailers for Tiger and Bunny – The Rising, in addition to information about Tribe Cool Crew. For example, the title of Tribe Cool Crew is a triple pun; it is written as “kurukuru”, which of course can be rendered as Cool Crew as in the title, but can also mean the onomatopoeia of spinning as in a dance, and can also mean “come on, come on”.
