Sounds like they pushed themselves too soon into coming back. This is why, having just recently finished all of what had been released of NANA, I’m of mixed feelings of the possibility of the mangaka returning to it. Yes, I would love a conclusion, but even though I heard she’s doing much better these days, returning to the exhausting life of a mangaka can quickly undo that progress.

Maybe if they did it like D. Gray-man’s mangaka and released chapters on a wider gap compared to prior, giving them more time to get proper sleep and take care of themselves.
