It’s a shame they used the unfinished version of chapter 3… hope they reupload the version with the completed panels.

I like the series but it’s so painfully generic. Apparently the one-shot is a lot better?

It absolutely is in my opinion. The story was about beastmen and human coexisting in a messed up place together rather than the generic demon slaying story it is now

I liked the first chapter up until they randomly mentioned the existence of beast men and supernatural elements halfway through. Then it was like it borrowed every aspect of supernatural Shonen series that came before it: Demon species exists/MC is half-human half demon species/Has a super mode with magic sword and heterochromatic eyes/"Live like a human!!" and other derivative tropes from better series. It's a shame because I was really into the back-alley weirdo detective/jack-of-all-trades thing they seemed to be setting up.
