I'm unsurprised that the author loves isekai stories; his riffs on the classic tropes were charming and amusing. It's interesting to hear about how magecraft is expressed rather than spoken, and how that led to the mechanical-sounding invocations in the anime. I'd definitely want to see a second season with presumed Momo/Akari mutual sniping/homicide attempts.

Possibly my favorite light novel adaptation since season two of Maria-sama ga Miteru! They really knocked it out of the park with this one.

If the books sell well and your voices are heard, and there's a gap in the schedule at the production studio, then a second season might happen.

Oh, I hope so! I would love to see Volumes 3 & 4 adapted! Though the latter volume drops a ton of wham reveals that the wait for Season 3 would be painful lol.

Sounds great. Hopefully they get enough response to get to come back and do more.

The anime convinced me to pick up all the seven volumes of the LN that are out so far, so I'd love to see another season. I haven't finished reading them yet, but Executioner is the kind of chuunibyou that I always need more of in my life.
